Activists of the Kranti Shiv Sena, breakaway faction of the Shiv Sena — burnt posters of the Bollywood actress to protest what they called disruption of the lives of devotees. Led by KSS president Arun Pathak, the partymen took out a mock funeral procession of the film crew and burnt the effigies at Harishchandra Ghat. They alleged that the daily religious life of the people living in various lanes along the Ganges was disturbed due to the shooting for the untitled film under the Yash Raj banner. “Devotees were stopped from going to the ghat for bathing and offering prayers,’’ alleged Pathak, adding this demonstration was a “warning to the film crew’’.

He said that Kranti Shiv Sena will launch a massive movement to oust them from the city if the crew’s activities affected the people’s daily lives in anyway.

Rani has earlier shot for several other films in the city, including a scene from last year’s hit Bunty Aur Babli.

Earlier a scuffle between the film star’s security guards and photo-journalists on Monday had already soured the crew’s stay in the city. To
break the resultant deadlock, a press conference was organised to allow the media access to the stars. But Rani, perhaps upset about being jostled by the paparazzi, accused photojournalists of interfering in the shoot and said that the media should have shown some restraint.

Upset over repeatedly being asked about her marriage, she fumed: “People who are waiting for ladoos or my marriage will have to wait for at least five years. They should not be worried about me as my parents are alive to search a groom for me,’’ she said.

The movie is going to be remade by Ravi Chopra , son of B.R. Chopra and they have planned amitabh bachan to play in the role of “bhishma pitamah” , and Rani Mukherjee in the role of “Draupati”. The whole movies plan is still in planning stage and nothing is still confirmed regarding the roles with Amitabh Bachan nor Rani Mukherjee.

Amitabh Bachan was selected because of his outstanding performance in the Indian Film industry and this television series is one of the Best Serial ever. The movie is being planned to be released in the year 2008. We are still awaiting to see who is going to play the role of Krishna[nitesh chopra most probably] and other Important roles.Saif Ali Khan and Aamir khan is also being selected for a role in this up comming big movie project,and the total project is budgeted at 100 Crores Indian Rupees [approx 25000000$] and is said to be the costliest Indian Movie.
