As the theatrical trailer of Jodhaa Akbar is unveiled this week, Ashutosh Gowariker can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

“It’s been a grueling but rewarding time. I’ve been virtually sleeping on the sets. We have finally zeroed- in on January 25 as the date of release. It’s a good week because we get the full 3-day holiday weekend, Republic Day and all” says Ashutosh Gowariker.

Rang De Basanti was released during the same weekend two years ago. “Was it?” Ashutosh seems unaware of the coincidence. “It just seems like the right moment. It’s a pity we couldn’t make it on schedule on October 12.”

Ashutosh still has one song to shoot which he will do as soon as Aishwarya returns from Boston from shooting her Pink Panther movie.

The epic’s postponement has given two other biggish films Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Bhool Bhulaiya to slip into the Eid Friday. “We aren’t attaching the trailer to any of the two films,” informs Ashutosh. “It goes into theatres independently.”

But it is just a coincidence that the Jodhaa Akbar trailer is being released during the same week that the film was earlier supposed to release? “You can call it a pleasant coincidence,” ends Ashutosh.

After there lavish in-your-face wedding that Abhi-Ash have decided to keep a low profile on their return from their honeymoon. They both were seen in Delhi visiting Abhishek’s sister Shweta. The couple stayed cooped up in the Nanda’s bungalow but still there was a line of visitors,Sweta’s friends and relatives who all dropped thier plans by to visit them.

Aishwariya make her self a part of the household and is keen on getting to know the entire extended family. She’s already said to be a favourite of Sweta’s tint tots, and had apparently packed a bog of goodies from her shopping so journs in Europe.

When she was back in Mumbai,she was back to work,finish her scene for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodha Akbar. Lools like Abhishek couldn’t even handle a few hours and some degree of seperatoin and she was ready to head home.

As a wedding day gift, Amitabh Bachan and wife jaya could not have given son Abhishek and to be bahu Aishwarya Rai anything better than an item number at their sangeet last night . But that is what the proud parents of the groom did , effectly making the participation of other stars in the sangeet ceremony incidental . the bachans danced in the half-hour sangeet ceremony at prateeksha. and according to the buzz neither Hrithik roshan nor shahrukh khan danced for the occasion. the groom’s sister shweta was also apart of the dancing . “everyone from Amitabh to shweta’s son Agastaya danced in the sangeet. The Mumbai customs has given a clean chit to actor Aishwarya Rai with regard to the mystery parcel containing undeclared foreign currency, that was sent to her in September from Rotterdam. Customs officials have also started making inquiries in Rotterdam about Avineshwar, who allegedly sent the parcel, which contained 23,000 euros, to Rai, sources said on Monday.

Rai appeared before officers of the customs’ special investigation and intelligence branch (SIIB) at the international airport, Sahar, at noon on Monday. She categorically denied any knowledge of the parcel, its content, particularly the cash, or the sender. Her statement was recorded under section 108 of the Customs Act, and if found to be false later, it can be used against her. But for the moment, customs seems to be satisfied with her replies.

Commissioner A K Prasad, in charge of SIIB, said, “She has denied knowledge of this person or the parcel. The investigations are over from this end, unless we get something fr-om Rotterdam. At this point of time, we are giving her a clean chit”.

Rai reportedly expressed her anxiety about such incidents and asked the customs officers what they could do to prevent them. “Am I going to waste my time explaining away such incidents, in which I have no role, but which can cause a lot of annoyance,’’ she asked of the senior officers present there.Rai, clad in a white shirt and blue jeans, looked “very nervous’’, said an officer who saw her inside the airport. On Wednesday, her father Krishnaraj had visited the Custom House at Ballard Pier to meet the commissioner and offer cooperation in the probe.Asked if Aishwarya was thinking of initiating legal action against Avineshwar, her counsel Girish Kulkarni said that was possible, but there were jurisdictional problems and as of now, they had not discussed any such possibility.

From our sources we have been informed that Custom officials have recieved a parcel which contains 23000 €euro in a packet. Though Aishwarya denies of this and says she does not know who sent it and whats the reason for the money being sent.

This situation is similar to to Raj kapoor who once played in the song “Mera Joota Hai Japani” which meant i got my shoe’s from Japan, and got many gifts in the form of Hats and branded shoes from his fan following.

Though this parcel news has surprised everyone but still there is not confirmation about the source of this and and firm reason for the money being sent to Aishwarya Rai.

Some rumours are being sent that this money is from the underground but nothing has been yet confirmed. We will try to get the real reason asap and update our viewers with the reason for the same.
